The constraint
Laurin Studio Lepote is a one-woman nail studio in Slovenia. It had no site of its own — bookings arrived through messages, and there was nowhere to send someone who wanted to see the work first. Rather than start with a build, we made a round-one prototype: a single-scroll landing page that introduces the artist, lists the treatments, shows a lookbook, and ends in a booking enquiry form. It runs on Next.js 16 and Tailwind 4 with eight runtime dependencies and no backend at all — no CMS, no analytics, no API routes. This is a prototype to react to, not a live site: it is not hosted, and the forms deliberately confirm on screen and send nothing.
